i have a few names. mostly because i was uncomfortable in my skin and tended to categorise myself depending on the company i was with. it used to help me when i was younger but now it just confuses people

my Samoan name means “to be in a foreign land”, i guess i was doomed from the start haha.

i usually go by variations of my Samoan name mauinuuese. i sometimes go by mars. i sometimes go by marion. occasionally i use mo.

i love creating stories and expressing myself in as many different creative ways that i can – i whittle, i write, i draw, i act, i throw axes. i love archery. i used to love playing netball and volleyball. i dance in the privacy of my own home. i am learning crocheting lol

i am a physio, a sister, an emotional baker, a lover, a reader, a book collector, a hiker, a movie-watcher. i have depression and anxiety, i have adhd – these things will always colour my world experiences as a brown girl.
